Answer: The first thing to consider is the quality and design of the H1 LED headlight bulb. Cheap H1 LED bulbs are often misaligned because the filament inside the bulbs themselves is poorly positioned and can cause dazzling oncoming traffic. Also, if the headlamps are set too low, the light will not reach far enough to see the oncoming lane.

Answer: No. If your projector headlights say they require H1 model headlight bulbs, you have to purchase H1 model LED bulbs or H1 HID light bulbs for replacement. You cannot use other bulb models in its place, such as 9005, H11, H7, etc.

The reason for this is fairly simple: the wiring and receptor components on the bulb and the headlight installation itself won’t match up and the bulbs just won’t receive the power they need to turn on. Even worse, it’s possible to damage your headlight installation by trying to force the incorrect bulb into a socket.
